I regret informing future and past customers the we are no longer offering pressure washing and paver sealant services. The work requires at least 2 people to perform the service with any kind of efficiency. Thanks to all who have chosen to support me in the past.  I am refocusing all my efforts to provide the excellent service for those who need help with their tile and grout!

When to seal your pavers

Whether it’s your patio, driveway or pool, sealing your new pavers is a very beneficial and important part of your paver project.

Reason 1.  A quality sealant helps you maintain the look of your property.

Reason 2.  The sealant will help bond the sand and pavers together, adding longevity.

Reason 3.  A quality sealant will help retard the growth of weeds and mold.

Some experts say it’s ok to seal the pavers right after installation.  This expert says wait a few weeks, keep an eye out for efflorescence.  Efflorescence or “efflo” is a white salt that leeches out of the paver due to moisture.

How many coats?

A high quality sealant will require 2 coats.  There are contractors out there who will increase the warrantee time if they apply a third coat.  A lower quality sealant may have that effect.  My company will not have that policy.  Quality installation and product will only require 2 coats.  A third will be redundant and unnecessary

After years of frustrating results with different products that either don’t work or are so hazardous that it will “make your catch fire”, I have come up with a technique that is friendly to the surrounding vegetation and pond and lakes!

Not only is it friendly,  it also more effective, making the surface like new again!  It has taken me a lot of time and money to figure out.. To find out how, you need to hire me!

Customers are often frustrated or even angry at the state of their tile in their showers when I see them. They are unsure how after just a few short months, the shower tile looks old, dirty and worse, moldy. And it is understandable. You pay good money for a bathroom renovation, or a tile or grout replacement and it seems wasted money when you see it tarnish so quickly.  Here’s my tip for those wanting to get a longer life out of their shower tile.

Dry your shower walls after using it.

Seems simple, but it is the most effective way to keep you shower tile sparkly new. The three main things that cause your shower to look dirty are:

  • Minerals in your water
  • Your soaps and shampoos
  • Mold and mildew

When you wipe your shower with a towel, squeegee or other after you shower, you take care of all of those tarnishing elements in just one swipe. And doing this right after your shower means it is still hot, so the soaps and minerals clean up easily.  I’ve been doing this in my shower after each use, and after two plus years it still looks brand new.
